Your bookmark bar, anywhere you log in.

Tubar is the browser-bar UI Chrome forgot — folders, custom colors, drag-to-reorder — backed by a cloud that can’t read your bookmarks. Zero-knowledge encryption by default, with bring-your-own-key as a premium upgrade.

Three steps to your bookmark bar.

  1. Install the extension. Get the Tubar extension for Chrome — unpacked from the extension/dist/ folder of the monorepo while we wait on store review.
  2. Add this account. Click the extension icon, open the account dropdown, choose Add account…, set base URL to , paste the token above.
  3. Bring your bookmarks. Already on raindrop.io? Open the extension Options page → Import from raindrop.io. Everything — collections, tags, notes, toolbar config — comes across with IDs remapped automatically.

Power-user note: it’s open source.

Don’t want our cloud? Run the same server yourself. MIT-licensed, no telemetry, full feature parity including both encryption modes. The extension can talk to multiple servers at once, so cloud and self-hosted accounts live side by side in the same toolbar.
